"Our Quest is to travel full time in a "Class A" motorhome we call our Traveling Talisman.

In addition our dream is to see all we can, so long as we're able."

For many years Tom has captured images in Harrisburg, PA and surrounding cities as a professional landscape and architectural photographer. We often discussed the idea of traveling, to widen our horizon of images. Friends and customers even mention to us we should photograph more than just Harrisburg. So with that in mind, we bought a 36 foot "Class A" motorhome we call our Traveling Talisman. It's hard to believe we've had our Traveling Talisman since December 2004. We tried traveling while we both worked for someone else, but it wasn't easy. There was only so far we could go. And we wanted to go everywhere we could without limits. So we decided in 2007 we would sell our residential home and quit working for other people. Our home went on the market March 1, 2007 and sold on April 27. By May 18, we were free from working for anyone else. The hardest part was selling our belongings. Everything sold, except for the items we were taking with us. That's when we became full time RVers.

Our departure date wasn't until June 3, 2007 and Tom had a show scheduled during Arts Fest held in Harrisburg, PA from May 26-28, 2007. Our dear friends, Karen and Steve helped us by inviting our stay at their horse farm for 27 days. From there Tom and I were able to get ready for Arts Fest. Because we were not far from downtown, the commute was easy. The results to our sales were a great success. Tom missed his goal by $30.00. Our greatest appreciation goes to Karen and Steve. I'll never forget our stay there. Thank you Karen and Steve, we love you. We also thank all our customers for their interest in Tom's Images. We hope you continue your interest, as we travel on our adventure.

During Arts Fest, Tom was approached by an Art Gallery in Mechanicsburg, PA requesting to display his images while we were on our adventure. Tom accepted and now you can see his images in person at Gallery 13, which is located at 13 East Market Street in Mechanicsburg, PA. If you're not able to make it to Gallery 13, that's okay. You can see more of Tom's wonderful eye catching images at tomreider.com. I've made it easier to get to his website through this one. Any time you see Tom's name highlighted, click on them. They are direct links to his on-line gallery. Any time you see Traveling Talisman highlighted it will take you to his travel logs at travelingtalisman.com.

We got together with most of our local friends before we left. And to our friends, those of whom we saw and those we regret not seeing, we love you and will be thinking of you on our adventure. Hope we get a chance to see you out there where ever we go.
